A week of digital technologies in Ukraine took place in “KyivExpoplaza” exhibition center

From February 20th to 23rd 2006 a week of digital technologies took place in “KyivExpoplaza” exhibition center which was a venue for the following events:

  • 13th International Exhibition of EnterEx corporate information management systems;
  • 5th International Exhibition of Expotel corporate telecommunications;
  • 3rd Specialized Exhibition for enterprise management concepts.

The exhibitions joined more than 100 companies from different countries of the world. Within the framework of the event advanced technologies, developments, equipment as well as comprehensive concepts of effective business management were demonstrated.

At the exhibition the EDAPS Consortium was presented by the following companies: OJSC KP VTI and Polly-Service, LLC which showed in operation thermoprinters for document manufacturing.

At the exhibition these enterprises were sponsored by “Nash product” magazine that latest edition contains the information about all the EDAPS Consortium members’ activity.

OJSC KP VTI booth presented general projects related to establishment of branch automation systems as well as information networks of nationwide use including:

  • EDAPS - Unified State Passport System - a most up-to-date computer-controlled virtually intelligent passport system that uses digital and machine-readable information
  • REESTR - computer-controlled analysis information system of data processing related to city citizens
  • Rubizh – a set of tools for information protection against unauthorized access
  • A system of centralized manufacturing and issuance of airmen certificates interoperable with EDAPS (under order of State Air Service of Ukraine)

While presenting special state-of-the-art equipment and software delivered by Polly-Service, LLC, thermoprinters for document manufacturing were as well demonstrated in operation.

Within the framework of the exhibitions a number of conferences, forums and round-table meetings were organized by the companies’ staff. The EDAPS Consortium representatives participated in the following conferences and workshops:

  • A new generation of database and software key protection against unauthorized access
  • New possibilities of management and accounting automation for manufacturing and commercial enterprises
  • Electronic digital signature and electronic document control in Ukraine: present situation and future possibilities
  • Internet-Business 2006

The Corporation booth offered a unique opportunity for visitors to learn more about new developments as well as get competent advice which involved active business negotiations and discussions.
