HOLOGRAMS WILL ENRICH GOLD

At the beginning of March the Specialized Enterprise HOLOGRAPHY concluded the Contract with the YEREVAN JEWELLERY PLANT -1 GNOMON OJSC on supply of holograms for protection of jewellery against counterfeit.

Naturally, each person has an inherent desire to adorn oneself irrespective of gender, age and nationality. It is considered that glimmer of silver, shine of gold, tingle of diamonds and other jewellery accentuate the most delicately the individuality of a person and give a sense of self-confidence. As the standards of jewellery manufacture had been forming for several thousands years, to date it is important for each of us to get the “authentic” piece of jewellery manufactured by the diligent hands of designers and jewellers. Indeed, the gold is valued if it is natural, without any harmful alloys which counterfeit jewellery are enriched with in plenty. According to the recent figures revealed by the Association of Jewellers of Ukraine and some major players of this industry up to 50% of gold jewelleries in our shops are contraband. That is why more and more jewellery companies decide to protect their products against counterfeit.

JEWELLERY HOLOGRAM

At the beginning of March 2009 the Specialized Enterprise HOLOGRAPHY Ltd., member of the EDAPS Consortium, concluded the Contract with the YEREVAN JEWELLERY PLANT -1 GNOMON OJSC on supply of large volume of holographic elements for protection of Armenian jewellers' products. The hologram will be applied on the jewellery label and contain the following information: the manufacturer’s name, logo and works number. Mr. Stepan Kirik, Marketing and Sales Manager of the Specialized Enterprise HOLOGRAPHY noted: “It is a great honor and pleasure for us to work with the Jewellery Company from Yerevan. This cooperation is mutually beneficial as our customers will receive a reliable guarantee that their jewellery pieces are protected against counterfeit, and HOLOGRAPHY will have the possibility to strengthen its authority outside Ukraine”.

According to Mr. Stepan Kirik it is the first partnership experience of HOLOGRAPHY and GNOMON. Moreover, the EDAPS Consortium has already a vast experience of work with Ukrainian jewellers. For example, in September 2008 HOLOGRAPHY has received the order on one year supply of security holograms from jewellery enterprises GOLDEN AGE and YUGZOLOTO (City of Zaporozhye).

The Specialized Enterprise HOLOGRAPHY also provides security elements for the jewellery of such Ukrainian manufacturers as CENTRUMIX-TRADE, DEMOS, MALVA, KELI.

The most significant order on jewellery security the EDAPS Consortium received from one of the world-known jewellery brand De Beers. Under the contract EDAPS produces highly protected De Beers Diamond Passports with demetallized holograms produced by the Specialized Enterprise HOLOGRAPHY (see Our Product, Issue 2/2008, pp. 16 – 27).
